I've been a nanny for two doctors in their home for over 7 years, they since have moved to Colorado. I worked anywhere from 8 hrs to 11 hours a day, it depended on if they both had early surgery. I youngest girl Hannah wasn't a year old when I started, I taught Hannah to walk I potty trained her. I did everything in the house I kept the house picked up. the children's things put away in their rooms, I did laundry for all 6 of them, I washed the all the linens every week. I drove the children to their after school programs, I bathed both girls, sometimes I did family errands. I made lunch for all 4 children. So much I could put down, ,I also did several crafts with the kids. I have several references. Thank you Donna

I have worked in the medical field for 18 years . I’ve changed my career recently to caring for and nurturing babies and children. I have been a Nanny for three years to infants, toddlers and pre-teens. I have cared for my now 3 year old grandson since birth part time as well. I have two grown children. There is nothing more rewarding than giving babies and children love and teaching them through play and creative activities. I’m also a portrait artist, I love being creative and giving children of every age the opportunity to discover and learn and to help instill confidence at a young age. I worked at Newtown High School for five years as a secretary before entering the medical field as a CMA. I also was the CMA at the Birth Center in Danbury for eight years. I am extremely responsible and organized and have a high energy level. I hope to hear from you! Thank you,, Nancy

When I was 12 years old I started helping my aunt with my little cousins and from there my experience with children grew. In high school I organized birthday parties for small children at a sports center. From there I worked at a day care teaching children ranging in age from infancy to school age, responsible for four to 10 children at a time. It was there that I fell in love with a family and became their nanny full time. At the time I started with them they had three children, ages 6 months, 2 and 4. With the family I was responsible for organizing their daily activities, driving them to preschool, activities, appointments, play dates, etc. Two years later I rose to the challenge as the family had another child. It was then that my organizational skills, my patience, and my passion for taking care of children expanded. I was not only a baby sitter for these children but became a member of their family. I describe myself as being energetic, compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated.

I have been caring of younger children since I was 14 when my twin nephews were born. After babysitting them for 3 hours by myself, I knew that babysitting was something I'd be very interested in. The following summer I got CPR certified by the American Red Cross and I've been babysitting whenever I could ever since. I love small children and I've been blessed to have taken care of preteens, children and newborns.
