Just to tell you a little bit about myself and the things I enjoy doing when I'm with the children... I also like to take pics throughout the day so you can see that all is well and to ease your mind. I have an excellent reference history I have families that I have been with 8+ yrs. I still care for on as needed basis. I am more than happy to provide references, along with a complete background verified through this company. I have over 40 yrs experience raising and caring for children, I’ve worked with newborns all the way up to age 13 children with special needs children with autism nonverbal. Hello, my name is Randy. I have over 40 years working with children in a multitude of diverse roles. I started babysitting at 13, to Nannying, to Daycare (Infant room to Site Director), to Substitute Teaching (all grades), to the State of MO in Social Services as a Foster Care Worker & CA/N Hotline Investigator, to my last professional role as a Unit, House 6, Supervisor at a Therapeutic Residential Treatment Facility. 9 years ago, at 46, I took an early retirement to live out some dreams, one of which was to motorcycle the continental US, Canada & Mexico. About a year ago I decided to return to work in Childcare again at 52. I'm currently working M-F, 8-5 as both a Lead Pre-K Teacher (school year) & Lead School-Aged Summer Camp Counselor (Summers). I'm currently FT. Honestly, being a Nanny again would suit my lifestyle better at this time in a more personalized, relaxed, home setting focusing on all aspects of fostering child development. Being a Babysitter & Nanny for families were some of the best experiences I've ever had. I've Babysat & Nannied for all ages (infant to 14), cultures & genders, from 1-5 children. Most of the families I've worked for were 1-3 children. I love my current position as a Pre-K Teacher/Summer Camp Counselor, though I'm always willing to help out parents some eves & weekends who need a quality Babysitter. It's a good break from the classroom setting. I don't smoke, am physically fit, trained & skilled in childcare, responsible, reliable, emotionally & cognitively mature, love pets, have a clean driving record, fully insured & a Class E (Chauffeur) on my DL. I'm happy to provide copies of my resume, recent Childcare DHSS/MO State Highway Patrol fingerprint childcare background checks, CPR-Infant/Adult/AED, ongoing Childcare training class certifications, references, recent physical & TB test & any other paperwork you may require. I do hope you consider me, would love the opportunity to talk more about my qualifications & to meet your family to see if it's a good fit. I hope to hear from you. Thank you for your time, Randy

I am currently working remotely at a national nonprofit with families that do not have local emotional nor practical support. Prior to this I worked as the Program Director at a nonprofit again supporting women and families with practical resources and emotional support, and before that I was working in technology at one of the largest youth-focused non-profits in NYC. I have many years (about twenty) of childcare experience and lifelong experience babysitting for family (as mine is quite large - especially with the recent addition of my own little one) and have worked with all age ranges from infant - teens. I love working with children, have always been around them, and enjoy being a small part of a child's development be it in an educational, familial, or recreational setting. I am very respectful of each individual family's values and rules while making sure to always reinforce that need for mutual respect. I speak English, Spanish, and some French and have worked with families as a nanny and babysitter (besides my jobs noted above), in a school and daycare center, and have also been a swim and karate instructor and coach. Due to these experiences and my own nature, I enjoy being active with the kids I babysit for, as well as spending time reading and learning, and cultivating a curious spirit. I also like to have a candid and professional relationship with their parents.

I have worked at a summer camp for the past 5 summers and loved every minute of it! Always something I would look forward to during the other seasons. I worked with 5-12 year olds at this summer camp. We would go 5 days a week and do outdoor activities, field trips, manage their lunches, help with bathroom breaks, etc. as well as working as a camp counselor I have been a life-gaurd for the past 6 summers so I am CPR and first aid certified. We would practice our CPR skills quite frequently (4/month) so the CPR skills are second nature to me at this point. I also have been babysitting since I was about 13 with different families. I used to have a family I babysat for every week for about a year. And I still sometimes sit for them when they need a babysitter. Usually the ages were 2-8 year olds. Also with having 6 nieces and 1 nephew, I babysit them a lot when their parents need me to. I use to babysit one of my nieces quite frequently with my brother being a single dad. My niece was about 3 months old when i started babysitting her up until she was about 2 years old. So I’ve had a lot of experience with different age groups, on different levels of looking after kids. I love working with kids, because I always have!
