Hello parents! I am a 26 year-old single mom with plenty of childcare experience prior to becoming a parent myself. As the oldest of 6, I grew up caring for my younger siblings, and then later went on to begin babysitting kids in the neighborhood, starting at 12 years-old. I continued to babysit and pick up nannying gigs (ages ranging from 8mo-12yrs), until I went into the food industry and housekeeping the last few years. I’m looking for a part-time gig to fill in a couple weekdays I’m currently not working, ideally something I could work around my child’s school schedule, and potentially could bring them along on occasion when school is out. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, and I’m willing to drive kids to and from school/extracurriculars. As a college graduate from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Nutrition and Wellness, and Psychology, I am currently looking for a part-time job post-graduation in the babysitting/nannying field as I have previous experience in this field. I am living in Topsham, ME and have my own car for transportation. I have been babysitting since I was 16-17 years old and have been certified through the Red Cross to do so since I was 12 years old. The ages of the children have ranged from infants to 11-12 years old. It has been a very meaningful and valuable experience for me as I want to have my own family someday. Through Endicott’s academic program, I completed Risk Assessment and Special Population classes where I learned about first aid and working with children. Last year I was a nanny for a 3-year-old boy and was responsible for transportation to and from school/activities, snack and meal prep, laundry and housekeeping, potty training, nap time, and playtime I am an animal lover as well, and have cats of my own. I love sports, movies, and music.

Fingerprinted, background checked, certified Infant/Child CPR/1st aid, member of nanny organizations, and I have references from several families I have "nannied!" My specialty is birth to 12 mo. but have enjoyed all ages. My hourly rate is $24-25 for 1 child depending on what is needed, $27 for 2 children, $20-25 for single events. Included: simple meal prep for the baby, dishes, tidying toys at day's end, minimal pet care. Nannying is my sole income, so like a daycare, I am paid a weekly salary to hold that timeslot for the duration of the assignment.
