I am a compassionate and experienced child care provider who brings maturity, professionalism, and a touch of childlike enthusiasm to my work. I take pride in getting to know each child as an individual, ensuring they feel safe, seen, loved, and free to have fun in my care. With over 30 years of experience in childcare across various settings, I have most recently had the privilege of supporting friends and family as they grow their families and navigate busy lives. Through this, I’ve earned two monikers I’m especially proud of: Sarah Honey and Sarah Poppins. I hold a degree in Elementary Education, am CPR and First Aid certified, and have received training in trauma-informed caregiving. I have experience caring for children from newborns to teens, including multiples. While my experience with special needs children has been classroom-based, I am open to opportunities where I can receive guidance and training to best meet a child’s needs. Beyond childcare, I’m an animal lover—especially dogs—and am happy to help care for furry family members, provided they are trained. However, I am reluctant to care for pets with feathers or scales. I enjoy meal planning, prepping, and cooking, and I have a knack for winning over even the pickiest eaters. Additionally, I’m happy to assist with light housework or laundry, provided compensation aligns with those expectations. I can also help with homework—what I don’t know, I’m determined to figure out! I have basic piano knowledge, including beginning Suzuki method piano, and can assist with practice or lessons. Having recently relocated back to Minneapolis from Nashville, I am familiar with the unique childcare needs of high-profile families. Hello Families! My name is Alexa and I am a Junior at University of North Dakota. I am a Pre-Occupational Therapy student with a psychology minor and will be starting UND’s doctorate level OT program next fall! I have been working with kids starting when I was 12 babysitting my younger cousins. I nannied for 2 summers in high school and then worked at a daycare center for another summer in high school. The past two years in college I have worked at, and currently work at, a daycare center as well. I have worked with all ages of children ranging from infants to teenagers. Hi I'm a 31 year old who has graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout in May 2015. I'm experienced in Montessori teaching, day camps, volunteering, babysitting. I have worked in professional accredited child cares for almost 9 years with toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten and kindergarten ages.
