I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. There was a little boy in my town that I would watch over once in a while. Also, my cousin and sister had kids and they let me care for them while they watched over me. When I turned 13, my dance teacher had me take care of his child during the week while he was at work, she was an infant. I took care of his child for a few years and during that time I was also left to take care of my cousin and sisters' kids while they had work. More recently I have been taking care of my brother's toddler (son) when he has to get things done.
