Hello! I am looking for a full time position as I transition from working for the Department of Education. I am enrolled in remote classes at The City College of New York, working on my Bilingual Childhood Education BA. I have a very friendly, welcoming, and nurturing personality. I am an older sister, we have an 9 year gap which, of course, deemed me her personal (un)official babysitter. I also have both professional and personal experience with infants. I also lived with a close family and was closely involved in caring for her twin infants during their first 18 months, supporting and implementing routines and development. I am comfortable and connect with all ages. I love parks, museums, and anything outdoors! I am open to answer any questions so we can get to know each other further.

Yamelis has been an exceptional nanny for our infant, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. From day one, she has shown genuine warmth, patience, and attentiveness. She is highly reliable, always punctual, and communicates clearly about our baby’s day, including feedings, naps, and milestones. Yamelis creates a calm, nurturing environment that makes our child feel safe and happy. She is knowledgeable about infant development and engages our baby with age-appropriate activities that encourage growth and curiosity. We fully trust her judgment and care. Any family would be lucky to have Yamelis as their nanny.

We hired Rabia after my wife broke her elbow and was unable to lift the baby. Naturally, my wife was nervous about staying involved in baby care. Rabia ensured the baby's needs were met while helping my wife stay included and connected. Because we both work from home, we spent a lot of time with Rabia and got to know her: we found her to be pleasant, professional, and kind. She was the peaceful presence we were looking for in a nanny. Our baby was lucky to have such a devoted and knowledgeable caregiver. Rabia was reliable, gentle, and calm. It was easy to communicate with her. She showed up on time every day full of energy and good cheer. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby in her care. When she was with our 6mo old, she actively played with him on the playmat. She put him into tummy time, helped him practice sitting up, and worked on other motor skills. She proactively thought about the baby's development and future well-being. Her experience and ease with children were obvious. We would be happy to hire her again.

Its been a long pandemic, I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I am your weekend backup to help you reset after a long week of being a superhero aka parent. I began working with children at the age of 15. I was a Counselor in Training at a sleep away camp. The following two years I worked as a Camp Counselor at the same camp. I began babysitting at the age of 18. I have worked with multiple families with multiple children. I currently work at a Dance Studio as the manager and instructor. The Dance Studio mostly caters to children between the ages of 2 through 14. I am currently certified in First Aid/CPR/AED for both Adult and Pediatric. My experience makes me qualified but my personality is why I have such a great relationship with the kids. Babysitting has always been fun for me. Children are true little sponges that soak up everything. The things they say or do always manage to make my day brighter. Being younger allows me to truly enjoy my time with families. I love to go outside with kids play a little soccer, baseball, or basketball. Kids always love that I can teach them some dance moves. Although usually most kids just prefer me to read to them. I try to give every character in a book their own voice. I haven't had a bad experience sitting. The occasional meltdown is expected and I'm prepared to handle whatever is thrown mine way. References, a resume and a professional background check are available upon request.

Monae is the absolute best childcare option in the NYC area. We came up for a wedding, and everything about Monae, from her extraordinary credentials and impeccable communication, had us at ease for the almost 10 hours we were gone. When we came back from the wedding, our 2.5 year old was happy and calm, and had eaten better for Monae than she ever does for us. Monae is exceptional, and we only wish she lived in SC so that she could be a regular part of our lives. Do yourself a favor and book Monae if she's available!

Djane worked full time for us watching our 1 year old son. She was very caring and listened to what our family needed and integrated into his routine smoothly. She took him out, made playdates, and kept our house organized by putting things away and cleaning up during naptime. I'd highly recommend her.

Hi! I've been a nanny and babysitter for over 14 years, caring for children from just a few weeks old up to age 12. What started as helping out a co-worker occasionally has grown into something I've done alongside my professional life for over a decade-and I genuinely love it. Most recently, I spent 7 years with one Brooklyn family, caring for their son from age 5 through 12. I've also worked with babies, toddlers, and sibling combos, including kids with autism and mood-related challenges. I'm confident juggling different needs, ages, and personalities-whether that's helping a toddler through potty training or guiding a 10-year-old through homework frustration. I'm comfortable with: -Infants, toddlers, and older children (including multiples) -Special needs (including mild autism and mood disorders) -Doctor visits -Daytime outings, pickups/drop-offs -Cooking, light cleaning, bedtime, bath time, homework help -Pet-friendly homes (I love animals!) I freelance & work remotely in sales and marketing, which gives me a flexible schedule. Whether you need regular care or backup support, my goal is to make your life easier and help your child feel safe, supported, and seen.

Wendy came to babysit our 3 month old twice in a hotel room for dinner. She was great! Fantastic communication, punctual, was able to resettle our baby to sleep (no small feat!) and very trustworthy. We will definitely ask her again next time we visit.

My name is Jenny, and there are 2 things I love in this world the most - children and music! I am an opera singer, mom and music teacher, and have over 25 years of babysitting and nannying experience. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old for neighborhood families, and then supported myself through college and graduate school with part time nanny positions. I also teach young kids to play the piano. I am very responsible, caring and encouraging. I've raised 3 babies of my own who are school age now, and I have more free time. I'd love to be a part of your family's life!

Jenny has been babysitting for my son for about a year. He is now 6 1/2 years old. We love Jenny! He is now also taking piano lessons from here. He is watching me type this and says "I love having piano lessons with her. We love her!" I highly recommend her. She also dog sits for us.

**ACTIVELY SEEKING GIGS - SPRING 2026** HEY! I'm Harrison. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I’m up for logistic-satisfying hangs, orchestrating grand adventures, date night coverage, and more. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, would love to connect! A little about me— I moved to Brooklyn ~4 years ago to manage a giant rock climbing gym. I've worked with kids a ton in climbing gyms over the last 10 years, from running summer camps to making birthday parties awesome. After leaving my role last year, I transitioned to sitting/nannying in an attempt to reclaim joy in my work life-- and it's been a blast so far. I like climbing, games (video, board, word, active, other), telling riddles + jokes (ask me about street sweepers!) building things, cooking, soccer, swimming, and riding my bike excessive distances. I went to school for film, and I used to be a producer on a PBS show-- I still love filming/editing fun videos with the kids I sit for (*movie magic*)! I'm CPR / first aid certified and generally skilled at balancing fun and safety in childcare settings. I'm a skilled driver, though I do not currently own a car. Beyond just sitting, I'm happy to support with: -homework help! I used to student teach / tutor English back in high school, and I am generally math-proficient. -meal prep! I chef 95% of my apartmenthold's meals right now, and I love to cook. -climbing! Wanna learn the ropes or just give it a try? I'm your guy. -pet care! I live with 3 cats (1 mine, 2 my girlfriend’s) and I care for dogs of friends & clients regularly. Hope to hear from you!

Harrison babysat for our 2-year old son while we were visiting NY and went for a play. He was great, we will definitely reach out to him again if we need. He was communicative, responsive, listened to and asked appropriate questions and best of all for this out-of-town mother, showed up prepared with a bag of toys and games perfect for my son! By the time we got back our son was asleep, and they’d had a great dinner and evening together. 10/10 would recommend Harrison for anyone looking for a babysitter for young children. Thanks again!

Hi, my name is Kiara but I go by Kiwi! I'm a native New Yorker from Brooklyn and I have over 4 years of childcare experience. I worked at a daycare in Queens (Future Sunshine Daycare) part-time, and went full-time after about 6 months as the owner is also a foster mother and needed help with her 3 foster children. I started living-in 4 days a week for about a year while still working for the daycare, thus caring for 8 kids (2 infants aged 4-6 months, 1 toddler aged 3 and 5 older children aged 6-9) along with 2 other alternating workers. I worked there for 2 years alternating between part-time and full-time after the foster children moved on. This passing summer I worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp in Plymouth, Vermont. I worked there throughout the whole summer as a camp counselor monitoring kids ages 4-11. Since then I've been babysitting for different families and providing occasional coverage for workers at the daycare. I am CPR and AED certified for both adults and children, my red cross certification ID is 10VNC1Q.

Kiara (aka “Kiwi”) is wonderful! She's been helping with my son's afterschool care and has been incredibly reliable. Our toddler absolutely loves her. She brings creative activities, keeps him engaged, and brings such a positive energy into our home. We’re so grateful to have found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Hello, my name is Lisa! I have worked as a career nanny in NYC for nearly 10 years and have been babysitting for over 20. My academic background is in Ancient Greek and Roman history and language, and some of my personal passions are drawing, film, travel, gallery exhibits, and live music. I am currently available for daytime or weeknight babysitting jobs with school-aged children, including days that there is no school due to conferences, holidays, etc. I am also available to provide backup care in the event that your typical childcare is unavailable. Additionally, I will be available for more full-time care during the upcoming summer months. I place an enormous emphasis on safety, both in the home and in public. I am seasoned and confident navigating the city with a child, whether by subway, walking, or taxi, and would be a valuable asset to you for school pick-ups, shuttling to classes and appointments, or just safely transporting them home to do homework and have fun. I am skilled at implementing existing routines as well as developing new. I am sharp, energetic, motivated, friendly, and affectionate. I enjoy spending time with kids going for walks and adventures, hanging out at the playground, reading books, doing art projects, working puzzles, and playing games. I am always up for a dance party or imaginative play. I genuinely have a blast with kids, learning about their interests and hearing their anecdotes. I am happy to help with homework if needed and am a capable cook with the right supplies and clear expectations. I am a team player and seek to accommodate the morals, attitudes, and values that are most important to the parents to have instilled in their children. I aim to be a true asset to any family that employs me. I am punctual, honest, respectful, and professional; I follow instruction well and take gentle criticism with ease. I have wonderful references and a formal resume, and I hope that you will consider me for your family’s new sitter! Please note: I am currently not offering toddler care due to a disc injury.

We were so glad to find Lisa when our regular afternoon babysitter had to be away for several months. Lisa filled in seamlessly -- picking up our six-year-old daughter from school, taking her to playdates and appointments, and bringing her home at the end of the day. Lisa was always punctual, communicative, playful, and fun to be around -- and, most of all, my daughter really enjoyed spending the time with her. She became a part of the school community of parents and caregivers, and knew all my daughter's friends. She was cheerful, thoughtful, and a wonderful caregiver. I'd be happy to act as a reference for any families looking for a great, highly responsible, and caring nanny or sitter!
