Vanessa and her two high school-aged daughters watched my daughter in their home from when she was 1yr old until 2yrs old; M-F while my husband and I worked full time. My daughter loved going to Vanessa's home, playing with the other kids, the small dog, and learning Spanish. We really appreciated how flexible Vanessa was with drop-off and pick-up times as our schedules and needs were constantly changing. Also, Vanessa's price can't be beat. Her and her daughters are very friendly and we enjoyed working with them.

I am an all around loving woman who loves to be of any help. I have been working with children all my life and have been babysitting since I was 13. I studied early childhood development at Portland Community College before moving on to Northwest Nannies where I became a certified professional nanny. i have work experience in a certified home daycare where I helped care for 12 children four of which were under 2. I'm pretty easy to get along with and just love to laugh and play with children. I love taking children on fun field trips to the zoo, , the park, or I let them pick as long as its a reasonable place. I have a safe insured reliable vehicle, with a pretty good driving record. I love to also sit and do crafts with the children and even will come up with fun and easy cooking projects to do with them.

Providing a warm and caring environment for your family is my goal, and I'm looking for my next family to connect with! The children I've been caring for since October are starting school in September and my time with them will be ending. I am available for part-time, temporary, and date night/one time jobs from September through mid-November. Experience includes working as an English Assistant at a primary school in Spain, coaching gymnastics to children ages 3-12 at Oregon Gymnastics Academy, and over five years of private childcare for kids ages 4 months-11 years. I have a musical background and enjoy musical activities, crafts, reading, and being outside with children. I'm also comfortable with tutoring/schoolwork assistance, pets, cleaning, meal prep, and transportation. References are available. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you!

Missy is amazing! She was with our family since our son was born and cared for him and our 2 year old daughter. For 2+ years she brought love and care to all of us and is just a wonderful person. She will be a part of our family forever and we are eternally grateful she was able to come into our lives and care for our children.

Hello! I am an experienced child care provider. I have 7 younger siblings that I have watched on my own since I was 13. My mom has also ran a daycare that I have helped with. But on top of that I have worked in a preschool for 3 years as a teacher, and done lots of caregiving for the elderly and other children! I have experience working in a cleaning company as well so I can do your household chores with ease :)

Maddi provided VIP care for our son for more than a year. She ran an incredible playgroup with another family in SE where the kids learned how to play well together, how to share, how to be good communicators and how to be good people. We attribute so many of Hank's kind traits to Maddi. We also loved how easy it was to communicate with her and how easy it was so add or change days if we needed to. When a second baby joined our family, she jumped right in and was super attentive and sweet with our little girl. Thank you for everything, Maddi!

Working with kids and families is my passion, giving me inspiration and joy. I have 11 years of professional experience caring for children through a variety of ages and developmental levels from six weeks to twelve years old, with diverse abilities and temperaments, including children with special needs (autism spectrum disorder, infant reflux, sensory sensitivities, cystic fibrosis). ________________________________________________________________________ CORE VALUES & FOUNDATIONS OF MY CAREGIVING APPROACH All children are competent and active learners, should be valued for their uniquenesses as individuals and community members, and are entitled to respect and dignity A child’s earliest experiences in relationships inform growth and development for a lifetime - Warmth, kindness, empathy, patience, sensitivity, and responsiveness in caregivers promotes more secure, confident, curious, and healthy children Children learn through play as well as participation in everyday routines and interactions with their families, caregivers, and close community Early music and language/literacy skills support learning for a lifetime – from birth, brain connections grow from rich experiences with song, music, reading, and talk Our natural world environment is our home to be loved, appreciated and enjoyed, wondered at, and cared for – We can foster eco-consciousness and stewardship with even the youngest children by talking about and modeling respect for the earth and its creatures
