My name is Mackenzie, and I’ve been passionate about working with children for as long as I can remember. Growing up caring for my four younger siblings sparked a love for childcare early on. From babysitting for family members and my mom’s coworkers to pursuing teaching throughout high school, I knew this was the path for me. I’m so grateful that my high school offered a child development course and a cadet teaching program — I even spent five months assisting in a second-grade classroom, which solidified my passion for working with kids.
