Thank you, Keyanna, for all your patience and kindness to our family. You came to the rescue in a time of great need. Thank you for building trust with my kiddos. If I could give you double the stars I would! Every day you were prompt, communicated clearly giving updates and handled the morning routing and meltdowns perfectly. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Meka. Your child can call me MS. MEKA. I use to be a full time Child Care Provider years ago, but due to daily pain I could not do it full time anymore. I still love helping parents out in anyway that I can along with teaching & adding structure. I also know it’s hard to find quality care and people you trust and those who will be an advocate for your child.. (children in general). I am a mother of 3... ages 30, 25 & 23. I have bonus children too…. Also my oldest just had a little precious one(My grand age 3). I was home with them majority of their early childhood & teen years being able to prepare them for school, helping with school work, taking them to their activities, taking them to school, and making sure they completed high school and/ or college...(Honor grad/Cum Laude grad & many meetings/support for my child who has Dyslexia). I do believe “Learning starts at home”. I was a single mom most of that time. There were many times, I had to get 3 kids to 3 different events at the same time, but parents make a way & God will put the right people in your path to help you. Please let me know if I can be any assistance to you or your family. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Also, I am First Aid/CPR Certified & I have a background check through the state!! Along with completed requirements for Water Safety for Parents & Caregivers. Thank you... have a blessed day!

Meka B. was absolutely wonderful with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old while she babysat them at our hotel in downtown Norfolk. This was my very first time leaving my children with a babysitter, so I was understandably very nervous. From the very beginning, her excellent communication and organization immediately put me at ease, and she quickly made me feel comfortable. Throughout the evening, she kept me updated with messages, shared thoughtful tips, and made sure I knew how everything was going. She planned fun, engaging, and educational activities that kept both of my children happy and entertained. At the end of the night, she even provided a detailed report of everything they did, which was such a thoughtful touch and showed how much she genuinely cares. Meka exceeded all of my expectations. She is professional, reliable, caring, and attentive, and I felt completely confident that my children were in great hands. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to any family looking for exceptional childcare!

Hi, my name is Deborah. I am 70 years young and love working with children. For the last three years, I worked for a phenomenal military family. They were reassigned to another state, and moved in June. They graciously posted a letter of reference on this sire. After they left, I accepted a part time position over the summer, and have recently decided to continue working with this family. For personal reasons, I felt the need to work less hours, and be closer to home and family. My availability will now be updated for occasional nights and weekends. I am an experienced childcare provider and have previously worked long term, and short, for a variety of families. I have a fun sense of humor. I am honest, flexible, responsible, and have an excellent work ethic. I seldom, if ever, miss work. I taught school for eighteen years. I have always cared for children/senior citizens nights, weekends, and long term. I have also stayed with children overnight, for their families to go on work trips or a weekend away. I have additional references and letters of referral I will provide at the time of an interview. I do need to update my CPR and First Aid, but have been certified many times over the years. I have also passed many background checks and am willing for families to run another. I so appreciate your interest and look forward to speaking with you... Sincerely, Deborah

Deborah started working with us when our first daughter was 4 month old. She remained with our family for 3 years during which we welcomed two more babies. We don’t have any local family and my husband travels a lot for work so she became our life line. Deborah is warm, knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable, and loyal. We have demanding work schedules and she was always there for us - early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. She even relocated out of state with us for a month when we had to move to be by childrens hospital of philadelphia to navigate health issues with one of our children. Never once did we have to worry about our children when they were in her care. Not only did she nurture our children but she even made sure our plants didn’t die when I was too overwhelmed to water them. She would help me keep the house running by doing kids’ laundry and ensuring I never ran out of diapers or formula, always reminding me when we were running low. Deborah is kind hearted and an endless source of puns. This reference doesn’t do justice for everything she did for our family. She will be missed deeply by us.

Hello! I have about 5 years experience working with children. I started working with kiddos when I was about 14 years old. I started with watching my younger cousins and helped in my local church. In high school I was in an early childhood education class for three years. Two of the years I was a TA. In this class we had a running preschool. I helped all the students come up with lesson plans to teach the children. I also helped my teacher with other duties. My senior year I got a job as a preschool teacher and worked part time after I got out of school. I was a preschool teacher for about two years, and for about six months I worked as a resource teacher. I also babysat on weekends and other instances for a few families I knew. I have experience with ages 0-12 years. I absolutely LOVE working with children and their families as well. I believe having a relationship with not only the child/children I may be working with, but also the parents/ guardians is very important. I hope that you'll consider me to be a part of your family!!

Hello parents! 😁 I’m a proud mother of five children, three ladies and two fellas, ages 20 to 28. In 2022, I became a Grammy to each a girl and a boy and another grandson came along in 2024. Twelve years ago, I earned a Master’s degree in Education and have over seven years of teaching experience in public education at both the high school and middle school levels. In my early years of motherhood, I operated in-home daycares for infants to pre-school aged children. I have taught and assisted many times in church Sunday School classes (nursery to high school) and have led and assisted with Vacation Bible School (nursery to high school). I have also led and assisted with youth groups and activities to include attending week-long summer camps and weekend retreats. I’m a divorcee of a retired serviceman. For those military families reviewing my profile, I’m very familiar with life in the military and the challenges that are presented along the journey. Thank you for your dedication and service! Needless to say, I have a genuine love for children of all ages and enjoy teaching and nurturing them; helping each one grow and learn to be the unique person they are created to be. Activities I take pleasure in are walking, reading, crafting, healthy eating, spending time in the kitchen and listening to music (dancing to the music, as well, even if someone is watching!). These are also some of the things I like to do with children, and of course, encouraging them to find and pursue their own interests and participating along with them. Life is certainly meant to be enjoyed, but there are times the fun might need to wait. You can be assured that your children will be accountable for their personal responsibilities (when applicable) like chores and homework (which I’m more than willing to assist), but who says these things can’t be fun? It’s all about perspective and that’s what I hope to instill in your children should you give me the opportunity. I appreciate the time you have taken to review my profile!

We adore Karla and have had the best experience with her. I have a 18 month old and Karla has worked for us for almost a year now. She is so sweet with her and i feel like she just understands babies and kids so well. Shes never distracted and is always attentive to Reese, which was something I really was looking for in a nanny. She has been flexible with our schedule and is always reliable. I would recommend her over and over again. She feels like family for us.

Both my baby and I had a fantastic experience with Bonita. She arrived early, which immediately showed her professionalism and reliability. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, friendly, and attentive to my baby. The best part was how quickly my baby took to her. My baby was comfortable, happy, and clearly enjoyed spending time with her, which gave me peace of mind. It's not always easy leaving your child with someone else, but she made the entire experience stress-free. Bonita was caring, responsible, and communicative throughout the visit. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable babysitter, and I look forward to having her watch my baby again.

Becoming a caregiver has been one of the most fulfilling roles in my life. I am deeply passionate about helping others, and caregiving allows me to make a meaningful difference every day. I thrive on forming genuine connections with those I care for, learning their stories, and ensuring they feel respected and valued. Additionally I am CPR certified. What makes me excel as a caregiver is my empathy, patience, and attentiveness. I approach each person’s needs with compassion and dedication, always striving to provide comfort and support. My ability to stay calm under pressure, coupled with strong organizational skills, ensures that I can handle any challenges that arise while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. I love my job because it’s more than just a profession—it’s a calling. Being there for someone during their vulnerable moments and giving them the dignity and care they deserve is immensely rewarding. For me, caregiving is about providing not just physical assistance, but also emotional strength and encouragement, ensuring each person feels valued and cared for.
