My name is Olive. I am a mom to 6-year-old girl. I came to Seattle with an Au pair (live-in nanny) program in January, 2008. I graduated Bachelor's degree in faculty of Education, majoring in kindergarten and worked as a kindergarten teacher for eight months in Thailand . I worked as an Au pair to take care of two boys since they were 2 and 4 years old. I also worked as a babysitter for 6 months and 3-year-old boys. My second year of au pair program, I worked for a family with 12 and 14 years old which one of them was a special need child. Hi! I'm Cyndie. I'm a mother of 3 boys; they are older now so I have flexibility in work and in play! I have twins that were 9 1/2 weeks premature and a 3 year old at the time soI I definitely know how to juggle children and family responsibilities I enjoy watching kids' sports. My boys played soccer since they were 3 years old, t-ball, baseball, basketball, track & field and football. I was a really active parent. I was Vice President of the PTA, VP of Membership, Chairperson of Family Fun nights and an Art Docent for their classrooms for two years. I also participated in booster clubs to raise money for the sports. I enjoy walking, bike riding, easy/moderate hiking (nothing too crazy!). I belong to the YMCA where I take Zumba, cycling, a weight class, yoga, pilates and cardio/weights. I just recently bought a guitar and I plan on taking lessons. I am very close to my 3 sons so I enjoy doing various things with them. In addition, I have a 13 year old dog, who thinks he's a puppy! In the past, I worked 7 years at the Kent School District, both in the office and as an Instructional Assistant. I worked some with autistic children and children with learning disabilities.
