Holly is a sweet, loving, and high-functioning 14-year-old girl with Down syndrome. She has a fun personality, a great sense of humor, and enjoys spending time with people she feels comfortable around. While Holly has some verbal communication challenges, she is able to express her wants, needs, and feelings. She may occasionally need a little extra time to find her words or communicate what she's thinking.

Holly is fairly independent with many daily activities and does best with patient, kind, and encouraging caregivers. She responds well to clear communication, routine, and positive reinforcement. She enjoys crafts, music, movies, games, being outdoors, and spending time with family. She also loves to hang out and play with her flashcards and watch Moana and Trolls.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and willing to build a positive relationship with her. Experience with special needs is appreciated but not required. The most important qualities are patience, kindness, and a caring heart.
