I am looking for a caring, patient and dependable babysitter or nanny for my autistic 6-year-old son. He is sweet, loving and enjoys playing with others, but sometimes needs positive redirection for behaviors (yelling, occasional meltdowns) Will need assistance in potty training and sometimes assistance with feeding such as microwave or oven use, but can mostly feed himself. He loves hands on playing such as play doh, kinetic sand, arts and crafts, etc. I am looking for someone who is comfortable working with children with autism, is attentive to his individual needs and able to provide a safe, fun and supportive environment while me and his dad are away. He is non-verbal for the most part but can express certain needs.
