Owen has spastic cerebral palsy and needs someone who’s strong, patient, and genuinely enjoys hanging out with kids. He’s nonverbal but understands everything, he’ll let you know exactly what he wants through yes/no and his expressions, which are very clear once you learn them. He uses a wheelchair and needs full help with transfers (he’s about 70 lbs and can’t assist), toileting, dressing, feeding, and positioning in his AFOs. He’s a sensory kid who loves music and attention. He needs someone present and engaged. Looking for weekday daytime hours, experience with physical disabilities preferred but the right personality matters more.

Days needed: Mon-Friday
5am-7:15am~ and/or 2:30pm-6pm.
