We are seeking someone who is available 10-15 hours a week for after school care for our sweet non-verbal 14 year old daughter. She has occasional behaviors, so experience with autism is a plus. Catie is not aggressive or anything like that, but there's the usual stimming and lack of boundaries with respect to drinks and personal space although she responds well to firm boundary setting and structured responses. Familiarity with AAC devices is a big plus, but flexibility in learning her communication style is welcome. We have trained an AI to help with the process if people get stuck, so willingness to use the app would be a big plus. Hours are 2-4 m,t,th,f and 1-4 w. We have a bunch of older kids too, they don't really need anything but can help out if needed.
