We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in the area of autism. Our adult 22-year-old son is not at all difficult to care for. He keeps himself fairly busy on the computer and only needs limited interaction with the caregiver. He is potty trained however we do need to help him sometimes in the bathroom. Just looking for someone to be familiar with our family and our situation in case we ever had an emergency we needed to go someplace for a few hours. We do have a dog that sometimes sparks so you would have to like dogs. Our son started having seizures when he was 14 but is on two seizure medication’s and has been seizure free since he was 17 so he has not had a seizure for three years. The person would have to be comfortable and knowledgeable about what to do in a situation where this might occur. We are a low-key family and want you to be relaxed in our home, but we also need someone that we trust and that we can rely on to care for our son should we not be here.
