**Occasional Summer Caregiver Needed for Two Boys (Ages 17 & 12)**

I am looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring person to help with my two boys, ages 17 and 12, on an occasional basis this summer.

Both boys are fairly independent and do not require extensive supervision. The position would involve a few hours each day during an upcoming vacation and would include:

* Assisting with simple meal preparation
* Encouraging basic tidying and organization
* Helping with medications as needed
* Assisting with diabetes care, including:

* Monitoring glucose values
* Helping with carbohydrate counting
* Supporting insulin administration through an insulin pump connected to a cell phone
* Providing gentle reminders and guidance to help keep them on track with daily routines

My 17-year-old has autism and ADHD and may require some additional coaching, reminders, and support with organization, time management, and following through with daily tasks. He is capable and independent in many ways but benefits from patient encouragement and clear communication.

Experience with diabetes management, autism, and/or ADHD is preferred, but I am happy to provide training for the right person who is comfortable learning and following care instructions.

This is a flexible, short-term opportunity that would be a great fit for someone who enjoys working with older children and is dependable, patient, attentive, and supportive.
