Manhattan UES family seeking an experienced caregiver for a sweet and funny 23 year old young lady. Client uses a power chair and a speech generating device as she is non verbal. Needs full support for all ADLs including toileting. Caregiver ideally should have experience with disabilities and should feel comfortable lifting and transferring a young adult of 75 pounds.
The work day is very active including attending classes around the city, visiting museums, and supporting social opportunities. Cooking and light household tasks. Hours 12-8pm. $35/hour with time and half pay for overtime and holidays.
Must be legal to work in USA and willing to work on the books. Health insurance available as a benefit.
