We are seeking a patient, proactive, and energetic 1-on-1 Classroom Shadow / Behavior Aide to support our sweet and active 2-year-old child in a traditional daycare setting. The primary goal of this role is to provide individualized attention, assist with behavioral redirection, and ensure our child safely and successfully navigates the classroom routine alongside their peers.
This position takes place entirely within the child's childcare center. You will work collaboratively with the daycare's classroom teachers while focusing solely on the safety, engagement, and emotional regulation of our child.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide continuous 1-on-1 supervision and safety monitoring throughout the daycare day.
• Implement gentle, positive behavioral intervention strategies to manage toddler challenges (e.g., transition difficulties, communication frustration, boundary testing).
• Facilitate social inclusion by helping the child interact safely and positively with peers during group activities and floor play.
• Act as a calm, steady presence to help the child co-regulate when overwhelmed or experiencing sensory overload.
• Maintain open, daily communication with the child’s parents and coordinate constructively with the daycare teaching staff.
