I'm looking for someone with special needs experience or someone comfortable with deescalating meltdowns. Most of the time this is leading our son through calming techniques and having patience when he is trying to get out of work. He is a sweet ten year old kid but sooooo stubborn.

Looking for someone to help teach reading, writing, and basic math skills to start. I am open to your suggestions and input into his lesson plans. We can do lessons at home or maybe a setting like a library study room if home is too distracting. We are flexible with working with your schedule. Unsure how many hours we will want, starting with a minimum amount and we will figure out what benefits our son best.
