It satisfies me to clean, so I usually do some cleaning even if you don’t ask for it. If housekeeping is part of the job, then your house will be cleaner than when you left it. I know how amazing it feels to come home to a clean house without having to worry about dirty clothes, dishes, toys, crayons, and more. I enjoy being with kids as well as cleaning. I have my passport in case anyone needs a traveling nanny, I would love to do it. I have only traveled with one family so far, about four years ago. I am certified in teaching swimming, CPR, and working with infants, toddlers, and ages 3-5. I take my job very seriously. Hey I'm so happy you're here! A few details about me: First and foremost I am a follower of Jesus. My faith is most important to me. I am a Baylor University graduate (go Bears!). I majored in Child Development with an emphasis on Early Childhood. Throughout college, I spent my summers at Kanakuk Kamps, working with children ages 6-12. The one summer I did not work there, I interned at a Down syndrome Achievement Center (GiGi’s Playhouse Nashville), working with children with special needs. I also was a part-time nanny for three families that summer. Post-college, I became a Substitute Teacher in Frisco ISD in Texas (primarily 3rd grade). I then moved and began a new job as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. I eventually climbed my way up to Senior RBT. My clients ages ranged from 6 months to age 16. I loved my job and loved watching my clients learn specific social skills, anger management, and in general, progress behaviorally. Most recently, I have been a full time nanny to two girls- G5 and G7 for the past year and a half. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified for adults and pediatrics. I also have three large dogs at home, so I am comfortable if you have pets as well. I grew up here in the Brentwood/Franklin area and have now moved back to the place I know and love. Hi! My name is Chanda. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mother of two beautiful daughters. I have been working with and teaching all age groups since I was 13 years old as a hip-hop dance choreographer. I knew then that I wanted to teach in any way that I could. Since then, I have been an after-school teacher for a middle school, an arts and crafts teacher at a charter middle school. I was at a childcare center where I went from being a lunch breaker and moving all the way up to Assistant Director at Siegel Learning Zone(2018-2020).
