Long-Term Regular Sitter Needed
Part-Time Sitter/Nanny Needed – Year-Round Position | Northeast Fort Lauderdale
We are a family in Northeast Fort Lauderdale looking for a dependable, warm, energetic, and engaging sitter to become a consistent part of our family's routine. We have two wonderful boys, ages 8 and 2, and are hoping to find someone who enjoys spending time with active kids and is looking for a long-term, year-round position.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Approximately 4:00–7:00 PM
Occasional flexibility for an earlier start or later evening is appreciated, depending on our work schedules and the boys' activities.
While our routine changes during the summer, we're looking for someone who can stay with our family year-round.
School-Year Responsibilities
Pick up our 8-year-old from aftercare in Northeast Fort Lauderdale (close to our home)
On some days, pick up our 2-year-old from daycare in Deerfield Beach
Help with homework
Prepare healthy snacks
Drive to and help the boys get ready for sports and other activities
Keep laundry moving and assist with light household tasks and occasional errands
Our work schedules and the boys' activities can vary from week to week, so we're looking for someone who is dependable, communicates well, and is comfortable with some flexibility.
We're hoping to find someone who is patient, responsible, safety-minded, and genuinely enjoys engaging with children—not just supervising them. Our boys are kind, curious, funny, and full of energy, and we'd love someone who will build a lasting relationship with our family.
Compensation
$24–$28 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
Clean driving record
Reliable, insured transportation
Excellent references
Successful completion of a background check
Current CPR and First Aid certification
