We seek a reliable babysitter for one elementary-aged child, starting in September.
While this position will not have a regular schedule, we are hoping to find someone for at least 3 nights per month (usually 5pm - 9pm give or take an hour), and at least 2 days a month (sometime before 3pm) for 2 - 4 hours. Responsibilities include preparing meals and snacks, managing bedtime routines, and performing light housekeeping/ laundry tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and nurturing environment while engaging the child in age-appropriate activities. The babysitter must communicate effectively and be attentive to the child's needs. Experience with children and positive references are preferred. You must live near public transportation -- ideally close to Charlestown, or less than a 20 minute drive. Starting pay is $22 per hour with the potential for a raise if all goes well the first month.
