I have a BS in Biology and was Certified to teach Middle Grades and High School Science and I have a Master’s Degree in Education with the concentration in science. I taught in public schools and private schools and then started the education programs at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education for preK & up where I continued to work with outdoor education for kids until the flood in 2021. I have experience babysitting siblings, keeping them safe and engaged in activities, preparing snacks/meals, putting them down for nap/bed. I have done after school pick ups as well as driven kids to activities. I am good with pets. I have a dog and have kept one of my client’s dogs when they went out of town. I have had background checks and been fingerprinted in previous employment. I am 1st Aid and CPR certified. I have also raised my own child so I have experience with babies. Most evenings I have available as well as the weekend and my day shift availability jumps around a little so I would just need to coordinate schedules.
