We are a family with two young children (ages 7 months and 2.5 years), and we’re looking for a housekeeper to give us a bit of support. We have great references with caregivers and housekeepers! We live in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven.

We’re primarily looking for someone to help us with light household cleaning + simple cooking + setting the table, etc.
Our children are primarily in daycare…but when daycare is closed (or if the kids have a slight fever), we’re looking for someone who would be willing to take care of our kiddos, instead of the household cleaning + simple cooking + setting the table, etc.

(1). 4 times per week. Housekeeping. Someone to come for 1 - 2 hours to clean the kitchen, make baby bottles, do dishes, set the table, prepare food, straighten up the living room, take out trash / recycling, do laundry, and prepare bags for kids’ schools. Come in the 3 - 5ish PM window (could be a bit earlier). Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. OK if someone needs to miss time occasionally. We'd give you recipes for the meals.

(2). If children are not in daycare that day, we’d replace those tasks in (1) with taking care of children

(3). If you’re interested in extra hours, we also need a babysitter for Sunday mornings.

(4). Ideally, you would be able and interested in being a full day babysitter when our children are not at daycare. In your response, let us know if you have flexibility in your schedule to pick up extra babysitting hours.

Pay is based on experience and your ability to support us on (4). Thanks in advance. :-)
