Providing a warm and caring environment for your family is my goal, and I'm looking for my next family to connect with! The children I've been caring for since October are starting school in September and my time with them will be ending. I am available for part-time, temporary, and date night/one time jobs from September through mid-November. Experience includes working as an English Assistant at a primary school in Spain, coaching gymnastics to children ages 3-12 at Oregon Gymnastics Academy, and over five years of private childcare for kids ages 4 months-11 years. I have a musical background and enjoy musical activities, crafts, reading, and being outside with children. I'm also comfortable with tutoring/schoolwork assistance, pets, cleaning, meal prep, and transportation. References are available. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you!

Missy is amazing! She was with our family since our son was born and cared for him and our 2 year old daughter. For 2+ years she brought love and care to all of us and is just a wonderful person. She will be a part of our family forever and we are eternally grateful she was able to come into our lives and care for our children.

Hello! I am an experienced child care provider. I have 7 younger siblings that I have watched on my own since I was 13. My mom has also ran a daycare that I have helped with. But on top of that I have worked in a preschool for 3 years as a teacher, and done lots of caregiving for the elderly and other children! I have experience working in a cleaning company as well so I can do your household chores with ease :)

Maddi provided VIP care for our son for more than a year. She ran an incredible playgroup with another family in SE where the kids learned how to play well together, how to share, how to be good communicators and how to be good people. We attribute so many of Hank's kind traits to Maddi. We also loved how easy it was to communicate with her and how easy it was so add or change days if we needed to. When a second baby joined our family, she jumped right in and was super attentive and sweet with our little girl. Thank you for everything, Maddi!

I’m from the East Coast and moved to Portland two years ago and live outside Ladds Edition. I’m an experienced nanny and went to school at Western Kentucky University for special education. I am also an experienced petsitter and was a veterinary technician for five years I absolutely love spending time with kids and watching them grow. I refuse to lose my child like wonder. I am fulfilled when I see that I have had an impact on a child’s life. I grew up in a dysfunctional family. I know what it is like to have been astruggling child, but I’ve used it in a positive light. I think it is an honor and a privilege to interact with a child and be a light in their lives . I love art, crafts, playing outside and being active with the kids! Painting, Gardening, Animals and anything outside

Kristen was absolutely wonderful and intuitive to what our kids and pets alike needed/wanted, during her stay. She was on-time (early), prepared, and even brought some toys for the dogs. During her stay, she instantly won the love and trust of both the kids and pets. Kristen has been the only stranger that our husky has met who was able to immediately earn her trust (dogs know!). Kristen was absolutely phenomenal with our autistic son, and paid him the "extra" attention he needed. My kids now consistently ask us when "Auntie K" is coming over to play with them next. The honest answer: is whenever we require a sitter, moving forward. We will absolutely continue to reach out to Kristen anytime we need a sitter, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone needing a reliable, respectful, kind, professional sitter!

I am an all around loving woman who loves to be of any help. I have been working with children all my life and have been babysitting since I was 13. I studied early childhood development at Portland Community College before moving on to Northwest Nannies where I became a certified professional nanny. i have work experience in a certified home daycare where I helped care for 12 children four of which were under 2. I'm pretty easy to get along with and just love to laugh and play with children. I love taking children on fun field trips to the zoo, , the park, or I let them pick as long as its a reasonable place. I have a safe insured reliable vehicle, with a pretty good driving record. I love to also sit and do crafts with the children and even will come up with fun and easy cooking projects to do with them.

I have been a nanny/babysitter for as long as I can remember! I absolutely love kids and teaching them fun new things and sports! Other then nannying I have coached volleyball for the past 8 years anywhere from 6th grade to High School Varsity. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology with a specialization in child development and after that plans of getting a Master in mental health counseling for school aged kids! I have extensive infant/toddler/kid experience as it has been my job for the past few years! I have done things from “shorter" jobs such as date nights and giving rides to places, all the way up to overnights where I spent the entire week with three boys while their parents were out of the country. My past experiences make me very versatile so I am open to anything that you might need help with from young kiddos needing bottle feeding, sleep training, food transitioning, potty training, etc. And for older kids I’m happy to give homework help, create and implement structured days, prepare meals, and clean up. A couple random things I honestly love are running errands/grocery shopping and doing laundry. I understand life is unpredictable so I’m happy to provide sick care! The most kids I've watched at once not including playdates was 4 at a time and it was a blast. I would say that I am a very flexible and understanding person and am always happy to to grow and change with your family’s needs. I think it's very important to build a good relationship with the kid(s) and parent(s) so it's a nice experience for everyone. I love getting outside and playing and even going on day trips to explore! I am fully vaccinated and have my own car (with 7 seats) including two toddler car seats and a clean driving record! I look forward to meeting you and your kiddos!

Hi! My name is Xiana, I am 23 years old. I have been babysitting ever since I was in middle school. I babysat children in my family and I was also able to babysit for others. I have my AAS in early childhood education, and in high school I took child development/care classes. I love reading, journaling, and listening to music! Being around kids has always been easy for me, last year I had the opportunity to volunteer at a preschool for a few months where I was able to implement my own lesson plans, and to help with their everyday school work! I learned so much from them and how children are able to retain so much information. I hope this gave a little insight as to who I am, thank you so much!

Hello! I’m Katie! my background includes home care and formal school settings with children of all ages. I spent some time assisting at a Montessori school which has deeply informed my approach to education– I believe that children learn best by engaging with the world around them and that by including them in mundane tasks, we foster greater independence early on. I am a big believer in natural consequences and meeting challenges with curiosity. I am open minded, playful, but with a calm and even keeled demeanor. I love to read, write, cook, make art, and spend time in nature. Let me know if I would be a good fit for your family!

Katie has been such a joy to work with so far. We’re so excited to have her as the caretaker for our 4 year old daughter because she is thoughtful and kind. She uses her Montessori experience to help aid our daughter with life skills while still being playful and fun.
