Training for newly adopted cat

I got Freya in November last year, she is 1 year old DLH, with mix of maine coon and Norwegian forest cat. She hisses when I try to come close, or right after giving her food, even if it is me simply placing the bowl back after refilling. She is averse to touch and I wish to understand how to get her to be calm and trust me.
