I have an adult spayed female Yorkshire Terrier (10lbs, 15yrs old) that is housetrained, requires occasional backyard access for potty. She doesn't know how to use a doggie door, so someone will physically need to open the back door for her. Unfortunately, we did not train her as a pup to go on a disposable pee pad, so she will come up to you and bark every few hours to be let outside for potty. She will be ok (most of the time) thru the night while you sleep and not need outside potty until the morning hours, but this works best if you let her go out for one last pee before you go to bed yourself. Works best if you can do this late in the evening like 11pm or so, then lower risk of her waking you up very early AM (she barks to let you know). Strictly eats Hills Science Diet kibble food (which we can provide for you), we've never fed her table food. We prefer she doesn't be kept in a kennel, she will sleep on the floor in a small doggie bed, which we will provide. Thanks for looking!
