Personal Assistant / Care Giver Position in Algonquin.
Great opportunity to work with family and team, part time, as a personal assistant for our 11-year-old son with Cerebral Palsy.

School year (after school, weekends and holidays available) and summer employment.

Employment is through the State of Illinois with hourly rate set by the State of Illinois.

Typical hours per week: 4 - 5 hours per day (12- 30 hr per week) after school during the school year (4 pm and 10 am weekends). More hours in the summer and weekends. We are flexible on work days. Must be capable of working some weekend days, and school breaks.

The job involves the following tasks:
1. Eating/feeding (mouth and G-Tube)
2. Bathing
3. Grooming
4. Dressing
5. Transferring
6. Incontinence
7. Communication
8. Preparing Meals

We assist with the state hiring process. The state usually takes 2-3 weeks to process.
