Part-Time Nanny/Driver for 13-Year-Old with Autism – Activities & Homework Help

We are looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible nanny/driver to support our family by helping with transportation and after-school care for our 13-year-old son.

Our son is a bright and loving child with autism. He swims regularly with a team and has various other after-school activities. We are seeking someone who can drive him to and from his practices and events, engage with him through play, and support him with homework and routines. Experience with children on the autism spectrum is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive our son to and from scheduled activities (swim practice, therapy sessions, etc.)
• Supervise and engage him in play or activities at home
• Help with homework and encourage learning in a structured, patient way
• Provide emotional support, routine, and positive reinforcement
• Communicate regularly with parents about his progress and needs

Requirements:
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive locally
• Prior experience with children, especially those with special needs (strongly preferred)
• Patience, kindness, and creativity in working with kids
• Must be punctual, dependable, and organized
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification

Schedule:
Part-time (typically weekday afternoons), with flexibility depending on school/activity schedules. We can discuss specifics based on availability.
