Trauma-Informed Nanny Needed for Bright, Sensitive 10-Year-Old (Private Hire, Paid)
Posted by Stephanie S. on 7/9/2025

- $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

We’re a loving family seeking a calm, patient, emotionally intelligent caregiver to support our 10-year-old daughter. She’s brilliant, creative, and deeply sensitive — navigating a recovery journey involving OCD, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and emotional regulation challenges (including past trauma and recent psychiatric stabilization).
This is not a typical nanny role. We’re looking for someone who:
Understands neurodivergent thinking and behavior
Is familiar with (or open to learning about) OCD thought loops, sensory needs, and emotional dysregulation
Can offer co-regulation, creative engagement, and a peaceful presence during rough moments
Feels confident with flexible structure, low-demand days, and visual supports
Will work collaboratively with us as parents, honoring her dignity and limits
Assist with homeschool or bridge learning efforts as we are in a transitioning process during an at home stabilization period
