My daughter’s name is Astraea, she is 5.
She was diagnosed around 2.5 years old with autism.
She is high functioning and very fun.
She seems like any other kid aside from still being non verbal. She does find ways to communicate in other ways.
There is crying and melt downs but Astraea is not aggressive towards others when she’s having trouble regulating herself.
Although she’s non verbal, she does understand most of what is being said to her or asked of her.

I’m hoping to find someone that can watch her before or after school eventually so that I can find a job. For now I’m hoping to find someone to watch her for a night here and there so I can have a little time for myself and a chance to get to know each other and if everyone’s happy and comfortable before I make work commitments.
