Alzheimers

Hi,
I'm reaching out to see if this is a viable option for help with my father. He has Alzheimers, and my mother is the primary care taker, but is easily overwhelmed, and run down because he needs so much attention.

His condition is fairly far along. He's not able to really hold a conversation. His vocabulary and speech are pretty diminished, and he gets lost in what his focus is or what he wants.

The situation is continually evolving for us. My mother has developed Vertigo, which is not what we are seeking help for, but with her being the primary care taker has implications on the situation. My father, is regularly wanting to go for a drive or get out, but his legs have been an issue so falling is a concern.

We are open to what care responsibilities could be, but we are at a point where my Mom just needs help. That could be spending time with him, taking him out, or possible nursing care. A phone call may be helpful to articulate.
