We are looking for an experienced individual to help support our daughter with homework as she transitions into middle school. Some background on our daughter:
She will be starting 6th grade at Marymount after spending 6 years at Basis
She is neurodivergent (ADHD) and has some gaps with executive function. While she is quite smart, she is working on 1) organizing her work 2) staying focused as she works through it 3) not rushing through assignments 4) working through written assignments (she is not a fan of handwriting)
She is passionate about music and plays classical guitar and sings
The homework helper ideally has experience with neurodivergent children and supporting executive function. We are envisioning about 1 hour per day of support initially as she gets used to the new school and workload.
