We are looking for an occasional (a couple times a month) sitter for our 4 year old son. Care would be provided in our home. He's on the spectrum with a speech delay and communicates with an AAC device. We are still working on potty training skills. He also uses gestures for communication and verbal communication is always modeled and encouraged. We're looking for a sitter with patience and experience in working with kids on the spectrum. The job will be for a few hours in the evening. Care will likely include engaging playtime, overseeing a meal (he feeds himself) and possible diaper change or potty time. He's a great boy who loves writing, jumping, playing and Thomas the Train. First Aid and CPR certification required.
