Position Available: Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for a 7-year-old child with special needs

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to support a non-verbal child with autism and intellectual disabilities. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:

- **Personal Care and Supervision**: Provide constant supervision to ensure the child’s safety and well-being throughout the day. This includes monitoring behavior and responding to any needs that may arise.

- **Cooking Assistance**: Assist with meal preparation, focusing on age-appropriate, nutritious meals that cater to the child’s dietary needs. Experience with simple cooking tasks is preferred.

- **Homework Support**: Help the child with homework assignments, using creative techniques to engage him in learning while adapting to his unique communication style.

- **Outdoor Activities**: Engage the child in outside playtime and activities whenever the weather permits. Encourage physical activity and social interaction in a safe and secure environment.
