Hello! My name is Daniela! I have been a babysitter for more than 6 years. I worked for an after school care for children ages 2-14 for about four years, I also worked for a babysitting company for a couple of years as well. Ever since I was young I’ve enjoyed and loved babysitting. I love being able to do art crafts, outdoor activities, helping with homework. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, baking and studying.

My caregiver career started when I was 12 and my brothers were born. Being so much older then them I was capable of helping out. My corporate career has not been as satisfying as I thought it would be and am wanting to return to my roots.

I am a 54 year old retired and widowed Police Officer from the East Coast. I served for 23 years (8 of those in the SVU/Youth Division) and retired in Aug 2016 after I lost my husband. I now live in Parker. I have prior experience as a nanny for 4 years (at the same time, still don’t know how I pulled that one off). My little charges were two infants, 2 toddlers, and one elementary school age girl. I served in the military for 3 years then became a Police Officer in 1994. I’ve been a certified EMT since 1994 and even managed to help bring one child into the world. I am quite fond of caring for children from my previous experiences, whether it’s date night babysitting, mother’s helper if either parent is working from home and need extra help keeping your child occupied without interruptions so you can focus on work. I’m a firm believer in love, and tons of cuddles with book time. As Per individual parents wishes, I’d rather listen to laughing kids, using by age appropriate learning games, playing outside, getting dirty ( that’s what baths and washing machines are for) over using a TV for a babysitter per household day to day rules and norms. I am well versed in healthy meals for your child and can always prepare meals for the parents if they don’t have the time or energy at the end of the day. I’m fairly well versed with most cuisines depending on your family’s cravings, and dietary needs. If your kids are older and show an interest in cooking, I’d be delighted to teach them the basics and take a step back and see where their creativity takes them. It’s a fantastic way to boost confidence! I’m also available for travel in the event your child is young and the parents need some quiet time/childcare needs while traveling. (I have a US Passport in addition to an EU Passport as I have dual citizenship) I’m also available to keep a household running smoothly and handle every aspect of your child’s care needs for parents(s) who occasionally need to travel for work. I speak English, have a pretty laid back ( yet vigilant) demeanor, excellent communication skills. and a healthy sense of humor. I have a reliable and safe vehicle with an excellent driving record as well as have been an advanced BLS trained and extensively experienced Medical First Responder throughout my 24 year career in Law Enforcement.
