Hello! We're a family with two 12-year-olds (boy & girl). They're both overall very well-behaved and are slowly taking more opportunities to explore their independence. Both are into their own sports and share hobbies like photography and drawing. Together, we enjoy a good movie night with a Ghibli film or a mini Mario Kart tournament on the switch. Screen time isn't monitored anymore as they've shown they can balance that themselves. We are also an LGBTQ+ friendly household :)
Duties to be fulfilled: afterschool pickup on Fridays (3:40p), driving home/to activities, cooking dinner (often provided Hello Fresh packages) helping with homework, and some very light housework (washing dishes/wiping counters), and reminding kids about their chores if needed.
All around, the schedule is flexible aside from Friday's pick-up from school (3:40pm). End time is generally around 8pm-9pm. Weekends are flexible as well—looking for 4pm-8/9pm.
