Friendly, Loving Nanny for Our Baby Girl (West Seattle)

We're a laid-back family in West Seattle looking for a part-time nanny for our daughter Zoe, who is almost 5 months old. We want someone who genuinely loves babies, feels calm and confident with infants, and brings a warm, steady energy to the day.

Schedule & Start
- 2 days per week (any two of Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, your preference welcome)
- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Availability for extra hours, evenings, or weekend babysitting is a plus but not required
- Looking to start as soon as March 1

The Day-to-Day

Your main job is keeping Zoe safe, happy, and engaged! That means feeding, diaper changes, playtime activities that support her development, reading books, narrating play, and lots of floor time together.

She's a PNW baby and loves being outside. Walks in the stroller to the nearby park, stroller naps in the fresh air, all of it. We'd love someone who enjoys that too.

Zoe is currently sleep training so we hope to have a routine by March 1. When she is sleeping, we appreciate someone who naturally pitches in. Loading the dishwasher, tidying up shared spaces, folding laundry (we handle washing/drying). Nothing formal, just helping things run smoothly.

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of childcare experience, with recent infant experience
- Comfortable and confident with babies under one
- Infant CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to get before start)
- Experience with sleep routines and nap transitions is a big plus
- Takes initiative but communicates well
- Comfortable working in a home where one parent is working remotely
- Reliable transportation to West Seattle
- Spanish-speaking is a bonus but not required

Just a few notes:
- No screen time (phone use is fine during naps)
- No visitors without prior approval
