The ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs children and be comfortable with pets (cats). Responsibilities include preparing light lunches/breakfasts and snacks, assisting with toileting, and keeping our child happy and safe. The ideal applicant is patient, reliable, and enjoys engaging with children. Please ensure your experience aligns with these requirements and that you can commit to these duties. Our child is special needs and will need special attention given to her mobility so that she doesn't fall. She will navigate our home and most other's fairly well, but can still fall if she is off-balance or catches her foot on something. She is also schedule potty-trained, so she needs to be told to use the bathroom often. She will need assistance with wiping after a bowel movement. She needs her snacks and meals prepared for her. Although she is 13 by age, her mental, emotional, and social age is 6. She will want to play and engage at that age level. She has Autism and sensory processing disorder. She is funny and kind.

Start time depends on location. I work at 7:30am so ideally would need to drop her off around 7am and she can be picked up between 2- 2:30pm.
