Morning care and school drop off

Posted by Kara P. on 2/14/2026

  • $20.00 per hour

My son is a special needs adoption with impulse control issues that prevent him from riding the morning bus. He is transitioning from his private school back into public which means our current schedule doesn't allow us to get him to school two days a week. We would need someone who could get him up, help keep him focused on getting ready, and drop him off at school Tuesdays and potential Wednesdays each week. The school is less than 5 minutes away. He is 12 years old and in the 6th grade and completely independent, just needs help with focus and would need to take his meds in the morning (can take himself). On Wednesdays, his siblings would also be here in the morning (they are homeschooled but attend a co op on Tuesdays) but would not need care or probably even be awake. The need would be for every Tuesday the other two have co op (because I teach there) and all Wednesdays I am scheduled to work from 8:30 to 9:30.
