We are a family in Crofton, MD seeking a reliable and caring after-school babysitter for our 12-year-old son. This is a long-term position (one year or longer including summer) with guaranteed weekly hours, unless the sitter requests time off.
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 4pm - 6:30pm
Wednesday 2pm - 6:30pm

Responsibilities:
Pick up our son from the corner bus stop after school
Supervise and engage him at home until parents return from work.
One day per week, transport him to a chiropractor appointment in Annapolis and return him home afterward.
Provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment.

About Our Son:

He is autistic with some difficulty in verbal communication

Mild-mannered, active, and largely self-entertaining

No behavioral issues

Ideal Candidate:

Responsible, dependable, and patient

Comfortable working with a child on the autism spectrum

Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Prior childcare experience preferred
