Looking for a person that can go out and about in the community with 21-year-old son on the autism spectrum. We're looking for someone who can commit to long term. Our son is outgoing and loves going to Astoria Park and on long walks throughout the community. We need someone who will talk, engage and help increase his communication skills in all kinds of settings - helping him on the road to self-sufficiency.
He is in his last year of high school, so we're looking for afterschool hours during the week (3:30-6:30) and/or a weekend day 10 am - 4 pm. We're flexible on days/hours and can work with your schedule, but within that, needs consistency.
