Looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced after-school Sitter/nanny to provide care for my 8-year-old daughter with autism (also non-verbal with minimum communication skills l, but has a speech device). Must be some who is patient, attentive, and confident supporting children with developmental differences in a structured and nurturing environment.

Schedule:
Start Date: 13 Jan 2025
Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Occasional Weekends as needed

Pay:
$13–$15 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Minimum assistance with changing clothes as needed
• Facilitate meals and snacks (can feed herself l; just need to set up for food)
• Support and engage in educational activities
• Lead and participate in play-based activities
• Maintain a calm, structured environment
• Use appropriate strategies to de-escalate behaviors
• Ensure child’s safety and well-being at all times
• Occasional school pick-up (as needed; she will be dropped off by the school bus)

Requirements:
• Prior experience working with children with autism (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• Ability to de-escalate behaviors using positive, supportive techniques
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Non-smoker
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and provide references
