Special opportunity for a long term position to help a 23 year old young man communicate while at his day program and afternoon activities.
All training will be provided!!
Parker has autism and is non-verbal. He is a kind, funny, and smart guy. He likes to be active, play games, and do fun things.
We’re looking for someone who will train with a professional on how to use a letterboard for communication and manage sensory regulation.

After training, Parker’s aide will assist him at his day program in Fairfax and take him to activity programs in Fairfax City.
Most hours will be between 10am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
Possibly some caregiving in evening or later hours if an activity is scheduled. Ongoing training and support also provided!
