You will be checking in on my hamster two times a week for a month. You can really come at anytime during the day to check on him if you want, since no-one will be home, but he is only awake at dark. Each visit shouldn’t take long at all, probably 10-15 min max unless you want to play with him. You basically just need to make sure that he has a bunch of food in his bowl because he won’t eat everything at once, and likes to store his food in his burrow. Also hide some treats around his area so that he can forage a little. If he’s awake you can play with him if you want, just make sure he stays inside the walls, as he will try to get out lol.
