We’re looking for a reliable, patient caregiver to provide In-Home and Community Support for an adult in the Glassport, PA area. This is a skills-building role focused on increasing independence (especially planning ahead and basic budgeting) while supporting safe, positive community involvement.

Schedule

- 2 days per week, preferably Monday/Tuesday
- 6 hours per shift (12 hrs/week total)
- Days/times can be set to match the individual’s routine and the family’s needs.

What you’ll do

- Support daily living & independence: routines, reminders/prompts, planning ahead, simple budgeting practice (allowance/money skills).
- Help with structured activities at home and in the community (walks, errands, recreation, social/community skill building).
- Encourage engagement with interests like cooking/cleaning, board/video games, music, walks, sports, and trying new things.
- Medication reminders

Ideal caregiver

- Patient and calm—the individual does best with extra processing time, breaking tasks into smaller steps, and positive reinforcement.
- Comfortable helping someone stay on routine (consistency matters).
- Comfortable with a home that includes a friendly dog.

Requirements

- Ability to pass required background checks and complete required training/orientation

- Drivers license and transport
