We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nanny to care for our 9-year-old child with moderate autism. Our child has limited verbal ability and requires high support. The ideal candidate will have training in speech therapy or occupational therapy and be able to incorporate therapeutic techniques into play and daily activities.
Responsibilities:

Meet child at the bus stop after school
Warm up lunch and assist with eating as needed
Engage in structured play that supports communication and sensory needs
Review sight words and basic math in a fun, interactive way
Light housekeeping: clean up after meals and play activities
Provide a safe, nurturing environment

Qualifications:

Experience working with children with autism or special needs
Training in speech therapy or occupational therapy strongly preferred
Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
Ability to follow routines and adapt to child’s needs
