We're seeking a flexible, dependable, and compassionate live in personal care assistant to support our twin adult daughters in a private home setting. Both are full time motorized wheelchair users with cerebral palsy. They need assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting, some light housekeeping.

The position is live-in and a private room in their apartment will be available to you for the duration of your employment with us. It's ideal for someone who wants to live rent free in midtown Manhattan for a minimum of one year to save up for future projects, school, etc.

The position is full-time, split into two daily shifts. Hours are 8 AM to 12 PM/9 AM to 1 PM, and then 7 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. It's paid through the New York Consumer Directed Personal Care Assistant Program.

Physical strength and/or height (5’4 or taller) is helpful, as wheelchair transfers require lifting the clients from bed to wheelchair, and wheelchair to toilet or shower chair.
