Greetings to our future nanny! We are a family of six (plus dog and cat) looking for a long term nanny to join our family. Dad works from home, mom works 2-3 days a week at a local hospital. Our oldest is going into middle school, the middle two are 4 & 2, and our youngest is an infant. We like to play outside, go to the movies, and going to the theme parks! We are looking for someone that is looking for part time (20-30 hours a week) work with opportunities for more hours occasionally.
We are mainly looking for care for our infant however over the summer the 4 & 2 year old will also be home. We have an 11 year old who is home but doesn’t typically need care. We will need someone who is comfortable caring for multiple children at once, driving the middle two children to/from preschool in the fall (in our minivan), is punctual, reliable, and good with time management and organization. We would also require clean up after the children, help with their laundry, and washing children’s dishes/bottles. We use cloth diapers and feed by pumped milk. 2 years of experience with young infants (3 months and above) is required, especially with setting a sleep schedule.
We are located at the edge of Oviedo and Chuluota in Live Oak Reserve. The time needed will be 8-5pm on Monday and Thursday, 8-2pm on Tuesday with potential to expand Tuesday or add on other days as needed. Care is needed when Mom is working at the hospital and her schedule varies however will be often made up to six months in advance. One of your scheduled days Mom will be home “post call” so sleeping so comfort with getting out with the kids (park, science center, local play gym) is ideal.
