A lovely family is seeking an occasional babysitter for their two children, ages 2.5 and 4 years old, for an immediate start. The family is looking for reliable backup care on average every other Saturday for date nights (5:00 p.m. – midnight), as well as coverage during Mom’s work trips 3–4 times per year on weekdays (5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.). There may occasionally be a need for weekday morning care (6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.) to assist with getting the children ready for school, though availability for mornings is not required. Applicants do not need to be available for all requested times but should note there are no guaranteed hours for this position. The family typically provides at least one month’s notice for upcoming care needs. The household includes two friendly medium-sized dogs and a cat—no pet care is required.

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
